The Asia Young Designer Awards (AYDA) has been known for serving as a platform for aspiring Architectural and Interior Designs students but now, they are also providing new opportunities for aspiring correspondents. There will be 1 AYDA TV Correspondent Trainee for Architecture and 1 for Interior Design if your school offers both courses. Wonder how you can join?

Anyone can join and be an #AYDATVCorrespondent trainee as long as you meet the following criteria:

• You are currently enrolled in any course in your school
• Your school participates in AYDA
• You are not participating in the main competition (to avoid conflict of interest)
• You are officially endorsed by your school or department (Endorsement letters & Waivers shall be sent upon registration.)

Be creative! As an #AYDATVCorrespondent trainee, you will be asked to create 3 videos with the following content:

1. Introduce, highlight, and cheer for your school
2. What does the #AYDA2021 theme of FORWARD: AMPLIFYING EMPATHY THROUGH DESIGN mean to you?
3. Invite and encourage architecture and interior design students of your school to participate in the main competition

Be sure to unleash your creativity! Videos that were sent in by the #AYDATVCorrespondent trainees will be judged with these criteria: 50% for content and 50% for creativity. The Top 10 Finalists will be announced before the judges’ deliberations and will have a final video task of interviewing the AYDA 2021 Finalists.

The successful trainee shall be named the first-ever AYDA TV Correspondent and shall be invited to co-host the AYDA2021 Awarding Ceremony. So what are you waiting for? Join Now!
