Taiwan Excellence is a campaign founded in 1993. The campaign showcases Taiwan’s most innovative products that provides tremendous values to users worldwide. The campaign has been active here in the Philippines for 5 years. And in celebration of their 5th year, Taiwan Excellence held their first-ever Taiwan Excellence Day in SMX Aura Convention Center in Taguig last June 15 to 16.

Great finds

ASUS lunches the latest additions to their smartphone line– the Zenfone 5, Zenfone 5Q and Max Pro (M1).

I personally love the ZenFone 5Q. It has a 6-inch 18:9 IPS screen and a FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. Furthermore the ZenFone 5Q has four cameras — two in the back and two in the front – both have wide-angle lenses. The front camera has 20MP which takes super-detailed selfies.

Next up is from the brand Transcend. I’ve been using Transcend USB flash drive for years  but I didn’t know that the brand was established in Taiwan.  They featured the Transcend StoreJet, DrivePro 230 and of course the DrivePro Body 52 which is already being utilized by the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA).

Gigabyte also showcased their 300-series chipset & Gaming Series, which includes the Z370, H370, B350 Aorus motherboards for action-packed gaming.

 

Of all these, my favorite is the Opro9’s SmartDiaper. Parents would instantly receive reminders when their baby pees, and helps you save money by reducing wasteful diaper change.

As a person working in the tech field, I really am grateful to witness new innovations. Thank you Taiwan Excellence for showcasing all these exciting brands and for the great items that I was able to bring home with me.  Looking forward to seeing more of what Taiwan Excellence has to offer.
